Audit and testing of second user equipment is an essential service used by brokers and maintenance companies alike to ensure the completeness and quality of the product prior to purchase or maintenance commitments.

Machine Audit Details:

Serial Numbers

Machine Type and Model

Base Specify Codes - Power, memory and DASD configurations.

Chargeable Features - Additional storage, processors, communication lines etc.

Shipping Group Items - Special installation tools, manuals, microcode, External Cables.

Damage Reports - Shipping damage, Shipping locks missing, Incorrect de-installation.

Machine Testing:

Full IBM acceptance diagnostic tests are run where possible and any minor remedial action for failures are included in the test procedures. Full failure reports are drawn up if required for claims etc. If required, machines can be staged for IBM Maintenance Service Qualification (MSQ).

Storage:

Any equipment stored at Ribeau is controlled by an individual confidential stock system created specifically for that brokerage company. All details relating to base machines and features are recorded individually which allows tracking of each item. Stock reports are available on a monthly basis or on specific requests.
